Comic Book Foldees

I remember buying these in the sixties; I never had all 44 but I did get quite a few. See the fun we had back then kids without computers (although I did use a computer to create this animation and it was also fun). If I can find the time I'll make and upload some more.

My attempts at clay modelling - The Slipperman and Brickman

I've made two attempts at modelling with clay so far and they've not turned out too bad really. Peter Gabriel's Slipperman costume from "The lamb Lies Down On Broadway" tour and Lew Stringer's "Brickman" character.

       

  





If you've ever seen movie props up close you'll know that they look good on screen but rough in reality. Same applies to these models. But, as far as I know, they're the only ones in the world!

Bring Back The Cloak

One of my favorite comic strips of the sixties from Pow. Mike Higgs, the creator, is trying to put a book together of all the collected strips so I created this animation to spur him on.

This took ages to do and is nowhere near as good as I expected it to be. A bit too ambitious I think!

3DME - Figures created from a 3D scan. - Updated

I had a 3D scan done at Asda the other day to create a 3DME … 

but there was a fly in the scanner with me and this is what I ended up with.

Tsk, what are the chances eh!

Actually the scans look great but it'll take two or three weeks for the figures to arrive.

Update.
It's only been a week and two of the figures have arrived. Just waiting for the one of the wife now - ah! there she is.
